The Office of International Programs is SOU's hub for all things international, serving SOU students, faculty, and staff. Our events raise awareness of study abroad and exchange opportunities, scholarships, global current events, and international community on campus. The Student Health and Wellness Center provides access to a wide range of health services including primary medical care, mental health care, psychiatric care, preventive services and campus-wide health promotion. Campus health promotion focuses on identifying campus health priorities using evidenced-based best practices to ensure equitable and inclusive messaging and services. When students get healthy, and stay healthy this drives change in promoting a healthier campus community. Our staff's vision is to create a space that fosters awareness, healthy learning, skill-building, collaboration, and advocacy for shifting the needle to create an environment that supports a students overall well-being. The Farm at Southern Oregon University is a center for sustainability. The student-led organic farm produces healthy, sustainably harvested food for the SOU community. It is a hub for education, student and faculty research and community outreach to the Rogue Valley. Projects on The Farm inspire a generation of ecologically-committed leaders who promote a vision of living and working sustainably in community and on the land.
