The Communication program provides students opportunities to develop verbal, nonverbal and visual communication knowledge and skills through the exploration of communication studies, film, television and video, journalism, and convergent media. Students may select from one of three concentrations for the Communication degree: (a) Communication Studies, (b) Digital Cinema, or (c) Social Media and Public Engagement.

Capitalizing on the unique and varied environmental settings in southern Oregon, the Environmental Science, Policy, and Sustainability program effectively prepares its students for success in a broad range of environmental careers and fosters in them, by example, a commitment to serving the community. The program curriculum provides students with the interdisciplinary academic knowledge and the practical experiences necessary for them to successfully address complex environmental issues, both regional and global. The program serves as a resource to our community by providing student and faculty expertise for specific projects affecting the environmental health of our region.

The Outdoor Adventure Leadership degree programs inspire a passion for self-development and transformation by providing opportunities to explore and learn leadership skills through outdoor adventure. The curriculum provides students with the opportunity to learn and evolve interpersonal, intrapersonal, and technical skills, and apply them to real-world situations. Through small and large group facilitation, students will learn to embrace adversity, diversity, uncertainty, and the necessity for collaboration.
